Description

Every embroidery logo requires a one-off production setup before stitching begins. This fee covers the labour and materials involved in preparing the job on our embroidery machines.

What's included
  • Hooping and framing: Selecting and fitting the correct hoop or frame for your garment type and placement, then positioning and tensioning each garment so the embroidery lands accurately and the fabric sits flat.
  • Machine threading: Loading and threading the machine with the correct thread colours for your logo, as specified in your approved design proof.
  • Stabiliser application: Applying the appropriate backing material to support the fabric during stitching and protect the garment's integrity throughout the embroidery process.
  • Machine programming and placement check: Programming the machine with your stitch file and running a placement check before full production begins.
  • One setup per logo: This fee is charged once for each logo we set up, regardless of how many garments carry that logo. Most orders use a single logo, so most orders carry one embroidery setup fee.
What's not included
  • Per-garment embroidery cost: The cost of stitching each garment is charged separately, per item.
  • Artwork preparation and proofing: Digitising your logo and producing your design proof are covered by the Artwork Setup Fee, not this fee.
Minimum order

Embroidery requires a minimum of 10 identically decorated items per logo.

Returns

Setup fees and custom decoration are applied to your order and are not eligible for change-of-mind return or exchange once production has started. This does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law if an item is faulty or not as described. See our Returns, Exchanges and Cancellations Policy.
