<h1>Plastisol</h1>

Plastisol

Bold, solid colour that stays put

Plastisol is a hard-wearing screen print built for headwear. The ink is cured onto the fabric for a dense, opaque finish that holds its colour through daily wear and repeated washing, which makes it the workhorse choice for bold, solid-colour logos on caps.

Where plastisol is the right call

  • Bold spot colours: solid, vivid one and two colour logos that need to read clearly across the front of a cap.
  • Volume runs: a cost-effective, consistent finish when you're branding headwear across a team or a whole site.
  • The right headwear: structured and unstructured caps, trucker caps and flat peaks in cotton and poly-cotton fabrics.
  • Clean, confident logos: solid shapes and clean lines in one or two colours reproduce best.

For full-colour, photographic or finely detailed logos, Power Print reproduces detail that spot-colour printing can't.

Executed correctly, every time

Once you order, our artwork team collects your logo through the Artwork Order Form, colour-matches it and confirms it on a proof before anything goes into production. We keep your setup on record and reproduce it identically on every reorder, so your branding stays consistent as your team grows.

Colour Options

Headwear Plastisol - 1 Colour 1 Position

Plastisol prints in bold, opaque spot colours that sit solidly on the cap and stay vivid through wear and washing. We print in one or two colours and match to your Pantone references, so your brand reads consistently across every cap and every reorder.

  • One colour: a single solid spot colour, the cleanest and most cost-effective option
  • Two colours: two solid spot colours for logos that need more definition
  • Pantone matched: colours matched to your brand references for consistency
  • Up to four positions: brand the front, sides and back of the cap
  • Built to last: a durable, opaque finish that holds through repeated washing

Standard Placements

We've branded headwear for organisations right across Australia. To keep ordering simple, we offer a range of standard positions on the cap, front, left and right sides, and back, all detailed in our Artwork Placement Guide below. If you need something different, our team can help with custom placements and sizing.

Care Guides

Your Questions, Answered

How many colours can you print?

Plastisol prints in one or two solid spot colours, which is what gives it that bold, opaque finish. If your logo has gradients, more colours or photographic detail, Power Print is the better fit.

How durable is plastisol on caps?

Very. The ink is cured onto the fabric rather than sitting loosely on top, so it stays opaque and holds its colour through repeated commercial and domestic washing and daily wear.

Can you match my exact brand colours?

We match your logo to your Pantone references as closely as possible, and for most brand colours the match is excellent. Plastisol uses spot colours, so very specific shades are matched to the nearest available ink. Our artwork team confirms the colours on your proof before production.

What's the minimum order?

Plastisol has a minimum of 10 caps with the same logo. Our team can talk you through the options if you need fewer.

Once my logo is set up, do you reuse it for future orders?

Yes. Once your logo is set up for plastisol, we keep it on record and reuse it for your future orders, so your branding stays identical every time you reorder ... and no Artwork Setup Fee applies for that configuration.

Can I approve how my logo will look before the full order is produced?

Yes. After you order, our artwork team collects your logo through your Artwork Instructions and sends you a hi-res proof (see Sample Artwork Proof) to approve, so you can confirm the placement, size and finish. We don't proceed until you're happy.

Can you decorate headwear I supply myself?

We don't decorate customer-supplied headwear. Everything we decorate comes from our own range, which keeps quality, sizing and colour consistent and means we stand behind the finished product end to end. Our team will help you find the right cap or beanie for your team.
