Description

Before any garment goes into production, your artwork needs to be prepared, checked, and approved. This fee covers that entire process, for every decoration method: Embroidery, Screen Print, Supacolour, Heat Press, and Sublimation.

What's included
  • Artwork preparation: Your logo or design file is reviewed, colour-matched, and optimised for your chosen decoration method. For embroidery, this includes digitising your artwork into a stitch file specifying thread colours, stitch type, stitch count, and density.
  • Hi-resolution design proof: For each unique garment style and decoration combination in your order, our artwork team produces a detailed proof showing exactly how your finished garment will look (see Sample Artwork Proof). Each proof specifies the garment style code and name, decoration method, logo placement, size, and colours. For embroidery orders, the proof also details thread brand, thread colours, and stitch count.
  • Up to 3 proof revisions: If you need adjustments to placement, size, or colours, you have up to 3 revisions included before production begins. No production starts until you have approved your proof in writing.
  • Proof storage: Your approved proof is kept on file. Repeat orders using the same garment and decoration combination do not require a new proof or a new setup fee.
What's not included
  • Artwork redraw or recreation: If your file cannot be used as supplied, artwork redraw or recreation from scratch is not included. Contact us before ordering if you are unsure whether your file is suitable. Vector files (AI, EPS, or PDF) are preferred.
  • Additional proof revisions: Up to 3 revisions are included. Further rounds beyond that are not covered by this fee.
  • Embroidery machine setup: The physical machine setup required for embroidery orders is covered by a separate Embroidery Setup Fee and is not included here.
One fee per order

The Artwork Setup Fee is charged once per order, regardless of the number of garments or the number of decoration methods selected. It is not charged again on repeat orders where the artwork and garment combination is unchanged.

Returns

Setup fees and custom decoration are applied to your order and are not eligible for change-of-mind return or exchange once production has started. This does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law if an item is faulty or not as described. See our Returns, Exchanges and Cancellations Policy.
