Garment Sizing

Garment Sizing

Get the size right the first time. For one person, or for every person on every site.

Uniforms only work when they fit. Too tight and they don't get worn; too loose and the brand looks sloppy. Getting fit right across a whole team, in one hit, is exactly what we do. Here's how to land the right size, every time.

  • Step 1: Measure.

Take a few body measurements with a soft tape. It takes two minutes and it's the difference between a confident order and a pile of returns.
  • Step 2: Match.

Open the Fitment Guide on the product page and match your measurements to the size. Every garment carries its own guide, because every brand we stock sizes a little differently. We show you the right chart for the exact item you're ordering, not a generic one.
  • Step 3: Order with confidence.

Found your size, place your order. Outfitting a team and not sure on a few people? Order samples first or talk to us. We'll make sure the sizing is locked before the full run goes ahead.

How to measure

Wear light clothing, keep the tape level and snug (not tight), and measure against the body rather than over bulky layers. For the most accurate result, have someone else take the measurements.

  • Neck: Around the base of the neck, where a collar sits. Add a little room for comfort on collared shirts.
  • Chest / bust: Around the fullest part, under the arms and across the shoulder blades, with arms relaxed.
  • Waist: Around your natural waistline, roughly level with the belly button. Keep the tape comfortable, not pulled in.
  • Hip / seat: Around the fullest part, with feet together.
  • Inseam (leg): From the top of the inner thigh down to the ankle. Measure a pair of trousers that already fit well if that's easier.
  • Sleeve: From the centre back of the neck, across the shoulder and down the outside of the arm to the wrist.
  • Head (for caps and headwear): Around the forehead, just above the ears.

Write the measurements down. If you're ordering for a team, the same set of numbers covers shirts, trousers, jackets and headwear, so you only collect them once.

Where to find the chart for your garment

Most product pages have a Fitment Guide. located in the size picker. All product pages also include a Product Snapshot which often include a fitment guide and fitting notes for the specific style.

Because we carry a broad range across multiple brands, sizing is matched to the exact garment you're looking at, not averaged across the catalogue. That's how we keep the fit right at scale.

Your Questions, Answered

Where do I find the size chart for a product?

On the product page. Where a Fitment Guide is available, it's linked right next to the size picker, so you can check your size before you add to cart. If a particular garment doesn't have a Fitment Guide, check the Product Snapshot, located above the Description on the same page. It's a PDF from the supplier and usually includes sizing details along with fabric, fit and care information.

What's the difference between the Fitment Guide and the Product Snapshot?

The Fitment Guide is a sizing chart matched to that specific garment. The Product Snapshot is a broader supplier PDF that covers the product overall, including fabric, features and care, and often contains the sizing details too. If there's a Fitment Guide next to the size picker, start there. If there isn't, the Product Snapshot above the Description is your next stop.

Why isn't there one size chart for the whole site?

Because we carry a broad range across multiple brands, and each brand sizes a little differently. A single store-wide chart would be wrong as often as it's right. Instead, we show you the chart for the exact garment you're looking at, so the fit is accurate to that item, not averaged across the catalogue.

I'm between two sizes. Which do I choose?

It comes down to how the garment is worn. For a relaxed fit, or if it goes over other layers, size up. For a closer, tailored look, size down. The Fitment Guide or Product Snapshot will tell you whether a style runs slim or generous. If you're still unsure, send us the measurements and we'll make the call with you.

Can I order samples before committing to a full order?

Yes. For team orders, this is the smart way to lock in sizing before the full run. Get the actual garments in hand, confirm fit and feel, then order with confidence. We can also supply a sizing set so staff can try on and self-select. Talk to our Sales Team on 1300 BOOSTED (1300 266 783) and we'll organise it.

I'm ordering for a whole team. How do I manage sizes across everyone?

Collect each person's body measurements once: the same set covers shirts, trousers, jackets and headwear. From there, match to the Fitment Guide for each garment, or send us the numbers and we'll recommend sizes for you. For ongoing replenishment and onboarding, a managed programme holds your sizing on file so every new hire gets the right fit without you chasing it.

Does decoration change the fit?

No. Embroidery, Supacolour Premium DTF and Standard Heat Press DTF heat press and screen print are applied to the garment and don't affect how it sizes. Order to the Fitment Guide as normal. The only thing to watch is placement on fitted or stretch fabrics, and our artwork team will flag that before anything goes to production.

What if the size I ordered doesn't fit?

Tell us. Decorated items are made to your order, so they can't always be returned the way a plain garment can, which is exactly why we recommend samples or a sizing set for team orders. If something isn't right, contact our Customer Care team on 1300 BOOSTED (1300 266 783) and we'll work through the options with you. We'd rather get it right than leave you stuck with it.

Do you offer kids and youth sizing?

Yes. Across schoolwear, junior teamwear and youth ranges, sizing usually runs by age or by a numeric scale rather than the adult XS to XL system. Check the Fitment Guide next to the size picker, or the Product Snapshot above the Description, for the exact age and measurement breakdown on that garment.

Kids grow fast, so if you're ordering ahead of a season or a school year, size up and lean on the body measurements rather than age alone. Ordering for a school or club? Send us the numbers and we'll help you get the spread right.

Do you have maternity options?

For staff who need them, yes. Some ranges include dedicated maternity styling, and many of our garments are cut with enough room to stay comfortable through pregnancy. Check the Fitment Guide or Product Snapshot for the fit detail on a specific item, and if you're not sure what will work, tell us who it's for and we'll point you to the right options or organise samples. Keeping every team member comfortable and on-brand is part of getting it right at scale.
